I just had my 25th birthday - to celebrate, we did so many fun things!
We spent time with my parents and were spoiled rotten!
We went to the lake, went shopping, ate yummy food, and just plain hung out.
On my actual birthday Nick showered me with gifts and invited a few friends over for zucchini brownies :)

Last night I started thinking about all of the things I've been able to do in my 25 years of life.
Here are a few of the things that popped into my mind.... in no particular order.

Ran the St George Marathon
Tried to be a brunette.... (I'm glad I learned early on that life is way more fun as a blonde...)
Visited the Great Wall of China
Graduated with my bachelor's degree
Married Nick, my BFF, in the Salt Lake Temple
Did humanitarian service in Peru with my bf Kelsie
Learned to slalom ski
A few other memorable experiences that I don't currently have pictures to prove....
As a family, we were able to travel to Europe where we got to see so many amazing things -
most memorable includes eating TONS of gelato, visiting the Colloseum in Rome, and tossing a coin in the Trevi fountain.

In the 6th grade, I chopped off my long blonde locks and donated them to locks of love.
I have so many memories during my first 25 years of life -
I feel so blessed to have experienced so much and I'm grateful for all that my parents did for me growing up. I was one lucky girl to be raised by such loving parents.
Nick and I have done so much and we have created great memories in the past 6 years.
I know that there is so much more that we will be able to experience together, and I feel so fortunate to be able to spend forever with Nick.
For some reason, turning 25 was a little bit scary to me...
I worried that I hadn't accomplished what I initially thought I would by now,
stressing that I was slowly letting the daily occurrences of life (work, school, dishes) take priority.
Although these things are priorities, I've finally realized that sometimes you have to make time for the things that are so easy to just put on the back-burner
That is my goal for the next 25 years - to stop putting important things on the back-burner! :D

Oh, what I would give to be 25 again...

You've seen and done alot! Too cool! I'm glad our awesome Peruvian adventure was apart of your memories. I'm trying to talk Cade into doing a vision trip there one day! It would have ranked in my top memories as well! Miss ya!
