Good Day

Today has been such a good day.   

I'm only beginning to realize all of the many ways Nick and I have been blessed.  

Here are a couple reasons why today has stuck out as a good, even great, day.

1. We bought a voucher on KSL about 6 months ago that we both just kind of fell into.  

I had a feeling we were never going to use it (it was for a little vacation), 

and if that was the case, we may as well have just blown our money in Vegas.  

Well, surprise surprise!  

The voucher cost was refunded to everyone that bought it because the company was a little sketchy - cha-ching!  

Now we don't have to worry about it going to waste 

(and we can be more careful to not buy things like it in the future...)

2. Extra good news at work today = awesome!  

We are so lucky to have the jobs that we do - almost all of the time, both of us enjoy what we do.  

There are many perks that come with our jobs too, 

not to mention how fortunate we are to have jobs with the slow economy.

3. We don't have to cook dinner tonight!  WAHOO!  

Our ward is having an opening social and that means no dirty dishes and slaving in a hot kitchen.

Acknowledging the good reminds me of this quote: 

"the secret to having it all... is knowing you already do".  

Making an effort to look for all the good things in life definitely creates more happiness :D

After all, everyday can be a good day to have a good day.
