Shakin' It Up

Nick and I have had so much fun finding ways to keep our lives a little more exciting...
This may not be anything TOO special, but it's always fun to have something to look forward to.

We've sworn that every time we travel to Roosevelt we will stop at Arby's to get a jamoca shake.
We went to visit my parents a couple weeks ago and took I70... a new route for us.
Since we couldn't stop in Heber for our shake, we had to punch "Arby's" into the GPS so we could find one in Richfield to stop at.

Something about sipping a jamoca shake on the road makes a 5 1/2 hour drive seem a little shorter :)

~Year of the Dragon~

It's true, we're visiting China in 2012.  Nick's excitement for everything asian has provoked a 13 day vacation :)  We've even invited our families and some of our friends, so it'll be one BIG party!
We're excited!

Monday happened to be Chinese New Year - we couldn't not celebrate!  We ate some delicious {american} chinese food and enjoyed some time with our friends.  So fun!

Cathedral Gorge

Last weekend our friends Scott and Kalli invited us to join them in visiting one of the least visited Nevada State Parks.  We drove 1 1/2 hours toward Panaca, NV and ended up at this lovely State Park!

We had so much fun hiking around these cool rocks!  It was a beautiful morning and we are so glad we went!  Especially because it snowed in Cedar while we were gone.... :)  Glad we missed that!

New Years!

Sheesh, is it already 2012?!

For New Years Eve we hung low - we spent some time with the Britos and Bruecks.  We ate good food, watched a few episodes of the office, and saw Lady Gaga ring in the new year on tv.  We loved just relaxing!

Rob and Linds

we're a lively bunch, that's for sure!!

When we got home, Nick and I got our "second wind" and lit sparklers, watched a movie, and stayed up until 2:30 am!  With a good start to the new year, we slept in until 10:00 Sunday morning :)
