Our computer had a minor fan issue (it lost a mere 5 blades) so it was noisy and we took it to the shop! In the time we were computer-less we enjoyed spring break and are now back at it!
For 2 days of spring break we went to Vegas with the Britos. It was a really inexpensive low key trip, although we felt differently because our $56 hotel/buffet travelocity deal scored each of us a suite at our hotel! Basically all we did was wander the strip and watch Penn and Teller - it was a magic show that I can't remember a whole lot of because it started at 9:00pm. Oops. What I saw and Nick/Rob/Lindsay said were excellent though! We had a nice relaxing couple of days to hang out away from home and get the "spring break" feeling.
When we got back I headed up to Salt Lake for work... SUU held a couple of "Admitted Student Receptions" that were a huge success! Both nights the rooms were packed and we didn't have enough chairs for everyone!
I have to admit that the hardest part of working at night those couple of days was missing my hubby (who was taking a homework break) and our night time TV shows. I realized while there that I had a show for every night of the week.... many of them I watch while Nick is gone, so I don't feel too bad... but anyone have good book recommendations? I really should kick that habit.
We attended the last gymnastics meet of the season last weekend. Gymnastics is definitely our (my?) favorite SUU sport to attend. Luckily I can get season tickets through my job, so it makes it easy for us to go often. We also were able to go to St. George last weekend to go to the Temple and try to escape the cold weather in Cedar City. A great Spring Break for sure!
