The purpose of our blog is to remember the early years of Nick and I and the fun we've had with our family and friends. Unfortunately I've not been doing a very good job at documenting what we've been up to...
I'd like to blame my lack of blogging on my life being busy.... unfortunately I haven't been busy, so I can't use that excuse! My other 1/2 definitely has though! Nick has been swamped with work/school the past few months and he is so excited to finish up his last semester. Nick's classes are keeping him busy this semester with hours of homework every day, but he's learning a ton and he is amazing at prioritizing and managing his time well! Nick started a new job in January at Zion's bank - he loves his job and he loves his coworkers. We don't have tons of time together lately, but we enjoy every second we squeeze into our schedules to see each other.
I'm still working at the financial aid office at SUU. Although I never would have imagined me working in this capacity when I graduated from college, I can see why I spent so much time hunting for this job. My coworkers are great and I still enjoy what I do every day.
A couple weeks ago we were able to spend time with my parents and Mitch! My parents were coming down for meetings and decided to make a weekend out of it! We played Farkle Frenzy (it's better to stick to the regular version...), went to the Parade of Homes in St. George and saw some awesome homes, ate at Red Lobster (Nick's first experience there!), played some Golf (the card game), and enjoyed some quality time together. Thanks for coming down Mom and Dad!
Although there are no pictures as evidence of our fun together, we all cracked up over this:
What perfect timing as the Hunger Games is coming out soon! Yes, we do already have our tickets. (Also, since it's only 14 days away, I'll be removing the obnoxious countdown from our blog :) I can count that high on my own)
Last weekend Bree and her bf Nick (Dominick) came down to St. George and hung with us on their way. We went out to eat at Applebee's and watched our new favorite show "Awake" - It was fun to get to know [Domi]Nick better and spend some time with them! Come back okay?
Mitch is finishing up his first year at SUU before he leaves on a mission. He's patiently awaiting his mission call and we're all starting to get curious as to where he'll go... He found out that his call has been issued so we'll open it up on March 23rd when we'll all be able to be there.
Last night was SUU's Dancing With the Stars.... which also happens to be our "1 year anniversary" from sparking our friendship with the Brito's. It only makes sense that we would go with Lindsay and Rob this year too! I actually remembered the camera, so I MADE SURE we actually took a picture.
Here's to Spring Break this coming week! HALLELUJAH!

Sounds like you are keeping busy and having fun while doing it! Exciting about Mitch's call! Fun fun stuff! Miss ya!
