This Week

Nick and I have been busy busy busy! We made a goal to have our "thank you" cards from our wedding finished by our two month anniversary... AND WE DID IT!!! We worked really hard on them... Here's a stack of them we did in 1 day! I kid you not... we worked really really hard!

I almost burned the apartment complex down yesterday trying to make a yummy dessert for some of our friends who are getting engaged tonight. No more meringue's here! Anyway, I shed some tears... (it's funny now)... and today when I came home from work my sweet husband had these waiting for me!!!



He is so stinkin' cute! I feel so lucky to be married to Nick - I don't know how I got so lucky but he is seriously so sweet to me and he always helps me fix problems without making them worse (like last night... after the disaster happened he put on the oven mits, carried the smoking dessert outside and disposed of it... then told me he likes the smell of smoke so he's so glad I could burn the dessert! What a sweetheart!) Anyway, I love Nick so much! He really is the best thing that ever happened to me!

Nick's been playing on a co-ed softball league this fall and they found out last night they are the league champs!!! Here's a pic of the happy team after a huge win (21-8)
