I'm So Behind.....

I've been so terrible at documenting what we've been up to the last few months!
When we moved in May, I started working again and my usual free time during naps was taken up with work or other pressing matters.
I'm going to do one of those annoying catching up posts so I'm motivated to stay up on everything better :)

In May, we went to Donut Falls with our neighbors.  We had a blast!  Perfect little hike with kiddos.

Maylee developed a curiosity with the stairs at our new place.....

We went camping with Bob and Linda over Memorial Weekend in Ephraim.
Maylee did pretty good for most of it.

On our way home we stopped and gave Grandma Rogers a visit.
(Don't mind the shadows....)

A few weeks later we went downtown to the Chalk Art Festival.
Maylee was so funny - this was the first time we experienced her ONLY wanting to walk.
She was done with the stroller that day and she felt like such a big girl.
Such a fun day :)

Maylee started to blow raspberries on our cheeks when we asked for a kiss.
She's very selective at when she'll give a kiss,
but she makes up for it with the amount of slobber you get to wipe off.

Running away from MITCH at the airport.  That's right, on June 26th, Mitch came home!
We had so much fun catching up with him and spending time as a family.
He came right in time for Maylee's birthday party :)

The happy birthday girl!
(I blogged about Maylee's first birthday here)

On July 4th we went to the Holladay Children's Parade a few blocks from our house.
Maylee could care less about the candy (for now) but it was really fun.
We happened to basically run into Bree, Nick and Brooklyn so the girls got a little cousin time in.

This is the best picture we could get....

We also met up with Tyler and Angela and went swimming and had a BBQ at their new place.
No pictures, but we all enjoyed ourselves.

That night we went to the Bee's game and Maylee was VERY fascinated by the fireworks.
No crying even!

Maylee playing with some of her birthday presents sometime this summer.....

Playing with Dad's shoes sometime this summer.....

Over the 24th of July we went camping at Flaming Gorge.
It was fun to spend more time with family and really get to catch up with Mitch.
We did not take pictures - can you believe that?
Mitch sent me this one the other day and I think that might be the only one we got :(
But at least we will remember we had fun!

Nick and I celebrated our 4th anniversary.
We treated ourselves to dinner at the Olive Garden.
Maylee came with and kept us laughing.
It was fun to spend our anniversary as a family - it is something our family can celebrate after all!
We had to hang out in the car for a few minutes after we got home because it started to rain really hard!

A few days later Tyler and Angela got married!
Here we are.....

And again.....

With Maylee.....
(who walked and walked and walked around all day and night!  She loves people, that's for sure)

And finally with the bride and groom.

A couple weeks ago we went to St. George for a Hussey Family Reunion.
It was a little different than in the past, but we had fun.
We went to the Tuacahn to see Joseph and the Technicolor Dream-coat and Maylee went to the Tuacahn babysitter.
It worked out really well and we would definitely do it again.

Last weekend Nick and I went to a marriage retreat in Aspen Grove.
John Bytheway spoke and we learned a ton from him and his wife.
This cute little cabin behind us is where we stayed - and it rained and rained
(notice the rain falling in the picture?)
Another shout out to my parents for giving us this mini-getaway for our anniversary :)

That's it for now.... I'll aim to be more frequent at posting but no promises.....
