5 Months

Our baby is 5 months old!

In the past month Maylee....



Has started rolling tummy to back - she loves to be on her tummy and still seems shocked when she rolls over. She can also roll to her side from her back.

Continues to sleep 10ish hours at night MOST nights.

FINALLY LAUGHED.  We'd been trying to make her laugh for the longest time and we finally got the giggle to surface :)

Fake cries or coughs to get our attention.  Oh dear.

Constantly grabs her binkie and pulls it out of her mouth/puts it in her mouth.  She hasn't quite figured out how to let go after she puts it in her mouth though.... It's like she teases herself but she doesn't know it's her fault :)

Discovered her feet.  She likes to grab her feet and watch her toes wiggle!

"Plays" with her toys - she can grab her toys and fling them around a little. I think her favorite is her "o-ball" because she can get a really good grip on it.

Chews on her pointer finger.... And her Sophie giraffe. And her binkie/bottle.... Basically everything she can!

Makes kissy noises - I'm not sure how, she sucks her lips in and somehow it makes a cute little smack.

Other things to note...

Maylee had a couple little stork bites on her face and they are starting to fade (one above her right eye and one between her eyebrows). 

Maylee is still wearing size 2 diapers and 3-6 month clothes.

We're getting on a good schedule - Maylee takes 3 naps during the day. Usually she will be awake for 2-3 hours then go down for at least an hour (sometimes 2+). She goes to bed around 8:00 at night and has been waking up around 6:30.

Maylee's hair has really started to grow back in and it's thickening up a lot!

We sure love this little munchkin!
