"camping"

Dani and Jared Wenn live about 25 steps from us. We go up the stairs and kiddy corner of our apartment and we're at their front door! The Wenn's got married on July 30th and Nick and I were able to go to their sealing (which was 6 days before our own!). Nick and I have had some really good times with the Wenn's these last few weeks... late nights playing mario party, watching cheesy church movies, playing farkle... and even camping in the back of Nick's dad's truck!

A week after we got married, we all decided to go watch a meteor shower and sleep in the back of Bob's truck (which we had for a couple of weeks). I can't remember exactly how we decided to go... but one minute we were playing farkle and the next we were all grabbing our new sleeping bags!

We went up to Navajo Lake, which is about 25 miles from Cedar City. It's hard to find a place to "camp" at midnight, but somehow we managed. All four of us did fit in the back of the truck... we slept horizontally in the bed of the truck! Thank goodness we are all so short or our adventure would have been a little cramped.




It's so fun to be able to spend time with our newlywed friends. I'm sure there are many other great times ahead!
