I can't believe how fast time flies with a baby. Boston is now 3 months old (what?!) and has the cutest little personality. He continues to be calm, and he has woken up this month! He will go 3-4 hour stretches where he is awake (maybe a little 5 minute cat nap here and there) and is so good to just hang out with May and I.

Boston's Newborn Photos
Linda continues to be so great at taking photos of our kids for us. We are lucky to have her photography skills documenting our kids lives. We did Boston's photos when he was 9 days old - he just slept and slept and it was great! I can't get over how cute he is!

Boston - 2 months
Boston continues to be such a great baby! I'm so grateful he has made the transition easier by being so calm and content ALL THE TIME. At his 2 month appointment he weighed 11 pounds 2 ounces -

Boston - 1 month
It's always a little tough adjusting to the schedule of a newborn, but Boston has made it much easier by being a great baby! I feel so blessed to have a content little guy in our family to hang out with Maylee and I during the day.
We had a few circumcision bumps in the road and eating was a little spotty for a few days while we worked some of it out. Once we did Boston started gaining about 10 ounces a week! He is a great nurser and surprisingly I don't feel like I'm feeding him ALL DAY (Maylee might feel like I am though...)
Boston still sleeps all day and all night. It's crazy! I have to wake him to eat during the day so he doesn't get the two confused as time goes on.
Boston is starting to fill out his 3 month clothes and is wearing size 1 diapers. He still has chicken legs but is getting so big!
We're so happy this handsome guy has joined our family!

Boston - 11/4/15
The last few weeks have been a roller coaster. Toward the middle of my third trimester, I started to get really uncomfortable where my stretch marks were on my stomach. The skin was getting very thin, and I was progressively getting itchier as the days went on. When my whole body started to itch, I mentioned it to my doctor at my 37 week appointment (before that I figured it was just related to my stretch marks) and when he looked at it he told me I had PUPPS (Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy) - an awful skin condition that isn't super common. Basically you get a nasty rash that is the itchiest thing you could ever imagine and nothing can really help it other than having the baby - I was constantly using gross smelling tar soap in cold showers, having oatmeal baths, and covering itchy spots with Sarna lotion, hydrocortisone cream, hemorrhoid cream, and basically anything categorized as "anti-itch". It was so awful. The same appointment we found that the baby's head was sitting on my right hip - my dr tried to move him and he didn't cooperate. I was aiming to have a VBAC, but with the PUPPS situation and baby's position I began asking my dr about having another c section. A few days later I was literally losing it - I couldn't sleep and every second of the day was spent trying not to itch every inch of my itchy body. So... I scheduled an appointment to see how soon I could have our baby as I needed to know there was a quick end to the indescribably miserable state I was in. We decided on November 4th - just a couple days shy of 39 weeks. PUPPS is a medical reason to allow a c section before 39 weeks, and I was SO GRATEFUL!

Maylee's 2 Year Pictures
I have the greatest mom and mother-in-law out there. While I went to work for a couple hours, the two of them took Maylee and went out for a photoshoot. They headed to Temple Square and my mom ran around and entertained Maylee while Linda took pictures of the whole thing. They turned out fantastic, thanks to the two of them - I know it was a lot of work! I'm sure this will be one day they will all look back on as the years go by.
Now, the photos!
