Boston - 7 Months

Each month Boston gets more and more fun.  He is becoming very interactive and is such a hoot - he laughs with us, laughs at us, jabbers with us, and has the cutest little smile and giggle.  And he's got baby chub everywhere - it's so fun to smooch him and give him a little squeeze!

At 7 months Boston.....
Is not longer sleeping all night...
Eats about 5 times a day.
Wears mostly 12 month clothes and has graduated to size 4 diapers.
Eats baby food at dinner time - we're working to remember to feed him lunch and dinner ;)
Gives lots of slobbery kisses
Rarely spits up
Sits up awesome!
Rolls everywhere and scoots on his back.
LOVES to splash in the bathtub - especially when he has a bath with his sister.
Jumps non-stop in his jumperoo.
Likes to eat the books when we try to read to him.
Gets super distracted when he's supposed to eat - nursing is getting hard again!
Is a little social butterfly.
Doesn't nap great unless we're in the car or on a walk - working on that!
Isn't a huge binkie baby - but when he wants a bink it's the hospital one!
Is super ticklish!
Reaches for anything in sight.
LOVES toys :)

Boston - 6 months

The months are flying! Boston is 6 months! He is such a joy and keeps us all smiling :)

Boston.....
Sleeps through the night!
Has no teeth.
Tried sweet potatoes and isn't sure about baby food.
LOVES his sister
Gets really distracted
Giggles all day
Is still super content
Constantly has his hands or feet in his mouth
Has a little stranger danger
Is starting to roll more and can sit up for a couple seconds
Smiles and giggles most at his sister
Weighs 18 1/2 pounds
Wears 6-12 and 9 month clothes

Red Butte Garden

When we lived downtown, a few girls in our ward had babies around the same time Maylee was born - we all became fast friends because our babies were the same age.  As they've gotten older, we've continued to make it a point to get together and have little play dates.  One of my favorites was going to Red Butte Garden on Arbor Day.  The weather wasn't that great, but the girls had a blast and were SO cute together!  Maylee and Madeleine are adorable - they love to give each other hugs and hold hands when we go places.  I love to listen to them talk to each other and run around together!  We love getting these gals together and will have to make sure it's frequent!

Boston - 5 Months!

Another month has come and gone so quickly.  Our baby is definitely not a newborn anymore, and is so funny!  He keeps us all smiling all day :)

At 5 months Boston.....
Is still so calm!  He is so good at just going with the flow all day!
Sleeps all night a majority of the time.  He usually will get up to eat around 5 or 6 then go back to sleep.
Smiles at his sister!
Giggles all the time!
Is SUPER tickelish.
Loves the bath!
Doesn't do much rolling.....
Is much quieter than his sister was.
Gives kisses!
Likes to hold toys.
Smiles at anyone who gives him attention!

Easter Pictures

Last year we took Maylee and Brooklyn to get pictures with bunnies and chicks at Camera Shy - Linda thought it would be fun to do it again, so the girls spent the day with their grandma's and got pictures taken again!  They turned out SO cute!

Maylee Update

Maylee is growing up - I look at how big she is and it's crazy to think she was once small like Boston. May is such a joy and has so much spunk to her!

Boston - 4 Months

Another month has come and gone and our baby is getting SO BIG!  It's crazy how fast an infant changes.... We just love having him in our family!  It's been a fun experience to have a boy and a girl, just like in both of our families.  When I was pregnant I kept thinking I was having another girl (since I'd only known what it was like to be pregnant with a girl) but I am so grateful to have a smiley, handsome little guy in our family!
