Another Year Older

We celebrated Nick's 26th birthday last week!

Nick is so easy to please - I asked him what he wanted for his birthday and he said,

"I want strawberry shortcake to eat. And a scarf." 

Thank goodness he's low maintenance because I caught a nasty cold and was a little miserable when his birthday rolled around.

We went to Tucano's for dinner with Nick's birthday buddy and his wife, Adam and Crystal.

It's been a while since we'd seen them, so it was really fun to get together!





This munchkin even got to come.... in her jammies so she could go straight to bed after!

When we got home, Nick opened his present and was excited to have a new scarf to wear to work (he's been riding trax, so he needs to dress warm).

We then ate strawberry shortcake cupcakes. They were yummy! 
(although next time I'll just make vanilla cupcakes instead of the shortcake ones....)

I had a few more plans for Nick's birthday that we're put on hold until we're all feeling better (Maylee now has a cold...). Once we execute the fun I'll document it all here :)
