Friday was our anniversary! WE CANNOT BELIEVE WE GOT MARRIED ONE YEAR AGO!!! In some ways it feels like we've been married forever, but in other ways it feels like we just got married a month ago.

(a shot of our rings - since the pair is different than last year!)
We decided to take a quick trip to Salt Lake to celebrate. We left on Thursday and stopped in Fillmore for some gas station dinner - we re-enacted one year ago as we stopped there on our way to Salt Lake the day before our wedding. The only difference was that last year I told the cashier we were getting married so he gave us some food for free!

We stayed at my parents condo downtown Salt Lake. IT IS BEAUTIFUL THERE!!! The condo is on the 8th floor and the view is unbelievable!

Our anniversary was so much fun! We went to the Salt Lake Temple and did sealings, we relaxed, shopped, ate some yummy dinner at the Olive Garden, and just plain hung out. We followed the one-year tradition and took our cake out of the freezer that night... surprisingly it still looked way cute and was super moist. Who would have known that one year old cake would still be so delicious!

Nick made me these awesome paper flowers for our anniversary! He's so sweet :)Coolest gift ever!

It was also Bree's birthday so we met up with her and Nick's parents for lunch and had some sushi!

Saturday we went to the Nauvoo Cafe in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, watched our wedding video, enjoyed this cute mormon message, and eventually traveled out to Roosevelt. We went to my high school reunion and enjoyed a quick weekend with a whole bunch of my family. Mitch was ordained an Elder on Sunday and he also had his Eagle Court of Honor -lots of family made it out there for him and it was great to see everyone!

We had such a fun anniversary weekend! Here's to eternity!
